Comedy for a Cure

Join us for a night of laugh-out-loud comedy and help find a cure for all types of brain tumours.

Comedy for a Cure returns for its second year, bringing together top comedy talent and a passionate audience in support of Brain Tumour Research. This year's event will take place at the Nottingham Lakeside Arts Centre, part of the University of Nottingham, making it a desirable venue due to its strong connections with the university and the upcoming Nottingham Research Centre, set to open in 2026.

The event is being delivered in collaboration with Funhouse Comedy Club. Guests will enjoy an evening of laughter while contributing to raising awareness of — and vital funds for — Brain Tumour Research.

Our night is in safe hands with Spiky Mike – a seasoned compere with more than 1,000 gigs under his belt. You’ll be left in stitches when master of observational comedy, Bob Mills, brings his legendary wit to the stage. Rising star Lindsey Santoro – a bubbly Brummie and English Comedian of the Year finalist who’s shared the stage with Joe Lycett at Wembley Arena – will bring the belly laughs. And expect laugh-out-loud stories, original songs and razor sharp improv from the multi-talented David Eagle. Four acts, one incredible night of comedy – all for a great cause.
