This Sunday, our heartfelt thoughts will be with the family and friends of Jason Willis as they mark the fifth anniversary of his death, aged 44. Jason is the inspiration for our Fundraising Group, the Jason Willis Foundation, set up to help fund vital research to find better treatment options and a cure for brain tumours.
Husband to Jen and dad to two young daughters, Sophie and Harriet, Jason was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in January 2019. He underwent surgery, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but in January 2020, he learned that the aggressive tumour was growing again.

Jen, who started dating Jason when they were both 15 and at high school together, launched the Jason Willis Foundation “in his honour and in honour of all the other husbands, dads and families everywhere, who’ve been touched by this horrific disease".
She described Jason as “intelligent, meticulous and thoughtful”, adding: “He would be delighted and humbled by what we’re doing and by all the support we’ve had.”
You can show your support by adding a donation here, giving the comment: inspired by Jason Willis.
