Hello everyone,
The penultimate campaigning update of 2025 contains one simple ask: please encourage your MP to join the first meeting in 2026 of the APPG on Brain Tumours.
We know a lot will happen of direct relevance to our community between now and 10th February, so we want the Thatcher Room of Portcullis House to be packed with Parliamentarians reflecting on what has happened and thinking about implementation and calling to account. These are indeed exciting times and we’d really like your MP to become involved as a supporter of the APPG and a political advocate for the UK brain tumour community.
Here is the template email you can use and please do feel free to drop in any personal information to give your MP some context as to why you are so keen for them to support our work.
Subject: APPG on Brain Tumours 10th February 18:00 Thatcher ROOM, PCH
Dear [Your MP],
The APPG on Brain Tumours will meet on Tuesday 10th February at 18:00 in the Thatcher Room of PCH.
I have Cc’d Hugh Adams from the charity Brain Tumour Research – the group’s secretariat provider.
Hugh will provide you with an agenda and a briefing document ahead of the meeting.
I very much hope that you will be able to be there on the 10th – this is a cause of great importance to me and your support would be hugely appreciated.
Kind Regards,

If you want to check your MPs email address, please click here and don’t forget to Cc me into your email.
Nearly all the MPs currently engaged with our APPG have done so because of being approached by a constituent brain tumour research campaigner, so we’re really grateful for your support.
You can find out more about the work of the APPG here.
Next week we will be reviewing 2025, including our most recent meetings, and previewing the year ahead.
Wishing you all a peaceful time until next Friday,
Karen, Hugh, Katherine and Jana
