We’re thrilled to announce that prize competition platform GoGoVox has committed to helping us to find a cure for brain tumours, pledging to raise vital funds and awareness via a two-year partnership.
The Worcester-based company was inspired to join our fight after witnessing the impact of this devastating disease on the family of a close friend.
Founder and Director, Mark Beeny, said: “At GoGoVox, we believe in using our platform not just to entertain, but to empower. Our connection to this vital cause is personal and heartfelt, rooted in the story of our dear friend Penny Church, who lost her son, Finlay, to a glioblastoma in 2014. In his memory, we are committed to supporting Brain Tumour Research in its vision to find a cure. By partnering with Brain Tumour Research, we aim to raise awareness and funds that will contribute to meaningful progress in this fight. We stand with families and individuals who, like us, dream of a future where brain tumours no longer claim the lives of our loved ones."

GoGoVox will launch the partnership today with a fundraising competition on its site – fronted by five-time world-record-holding freestyle footballer Ben Nuttall – where entrants have the chance to win a pair of signed Adidas Predator Elite boots, along with a selection of exciting instant-win rewards.
GoGoVox has already played a pivotal role in accelerating research; in March, it was the proud headline sponsor of our 15th Anniversary Gala Dinner, and over the coming 24 months, the nine-strong team will continue to hold and take part in a variety of awareness campaigns and promotional initiatives, including Wear A Hat Day and Walk of Hope, in order to drive donations.
Penny said: “This partnership means the world to us. It keeps Fin’s memory alive while directing vital funding specifically toward paediatric research at Brain Tumour Research’s Centres of Excellence. While it’s too late for Fin, it’s not too late for others. Through this partnership, we’re helping to fund research that will change lives and offer hope to families facing this devastating diagnosis.”
The company’s passion, reach and commitment will prove invaluable in the fight to find a cure, as we continue to campaign for better outcomes for brain tumour patients and their families.
We look forward to supporting GoGoVox in its fundraising activities.
