At this time of year, it’s easy to get swept along on the festive tide of lavish buying and abundance. But, this year, would you consider giving a gift with a difference? A gift that makes a difference?
We’re asking you to give the gift of hope by donating generously to the Brain Tumour Research Christmas Appeal.
Your support over the past 15 years has enabled us to fund sustainable and continuous research in our Centres of Excellence. By donating to our Christmas Appeal, you can help us get ever closer to finding a cure.
Of course, for families affected by a brain tumour, this season of celebration also comes with acute sadness: fear for the future, or the pain of seeing a space where a stocking once hung.
Some of these families have shared their stories as part of our Christmas Appeal, because they know all too well the indiscriminate nature of this disease. How it can affect anyone, at any age.
Families like that of five-year-old Riley who lost an eye during surgery to remove a brain tumour. Riley’s family is determined to raise funds and awareness of the incredible importance of research into brain tumours, to help progress our goal of finding a cure. His mum Nicole said: “I’m sharing Riley’s story to raise vital awareness and to stress how crucial early detection is.”
Will you support our work to bring hope to families like Riley’s? Donate here to give the gift of hope this Christmas.
