The top scoring papers have been recognised at an influential neuro-oncology conference for researchers and clinicians with awards co-sponsored by Brain Tumour Research.
Representatives from Brain Tumour Research were in Cambridge last week (Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th July) for this year’s British Neuro-Oncology Society (BNOS) Annual Meeting. Themed around “working together for precision care”, the three-day conference provided the latest insights and best practices in the rapidly evolving field of precision medicine in neuro-oncology.
As part of our work to support academic researchers, Brain Tumour Research has co-sponsored the High Scoring Free Papers awards, in collaboration with BNOS.
Our CEO Dan Knowles introduced the four winners: Dr Susan Honeyman from the John Radcliffe Hospital, Mr Yonghao Li from the University of Cambridge, Mr Shaylen Mistry from the University of Nottingham, and Professor Ho Keung Ng from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. They presented on their work which encompasses a range of tumour types, including glioblastoma (GBM), glioma, atypical teratoid rhabdoid (AT/RT) tumours and astrocytoma.
