Today, Brain Tumour Research launches its popular 10,000 Steps a Day in February challenge to raise money to fund the fight against this devastating disease.
The perfect challenge to boost fitness and wellbeing as we head into 2025, participants are tasked with completing 10,000 steps a day. Walk, run, hop, skip or jump – anything goes to hit the target.
Taking part will help us make strides towards changing outcomes for the one in three people who knows someone affected by a brain tumour and help us get closer to finding a cure.
You can take part in 10,000 Steps a Day in February wherever you happen to be and split the distance with friends, family or colleagues. Clock up extra steps by parking further away or hopping off the bus earlier, walk and talk with colleagues at lunch or hit the treadmill.
Sign up and set up a Facebook Fundraiser or JustGiving page, to receive a free t-shirt, step tracker and fundraising pack and donations that exceed £50 will result in a free baseball cap.
For more information, head over to the 10,000 Steps a Day in February page for everything you need.
