Cycle 274 Miles in August

Saddle up for our summer cycling challenge and help fund the fight against brain tumours.

Back by popular demand, Cycle 274 Miles in August is a great challenge which you can complete at your own pace. Get involved, enjoy the summer sunshine and raise vital funds and awareness to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

Take part wherever you are and get involved on your own or join forces with your family and friends. It’s your challenge your way.

Here are a few ways you could hit that 274-mile target:

Get on your bike and complete a daily distance – that’s 8.8 miles a day.

If you can’t commit to a daily pedal, aim for 61 miles a week.

Team up with a pal or two and split the distance between you throughout the month – cycle 137 miles each if you’re part of a pair or fewer if you buddy up with more friends.

Got a static or exercise bike at home? Boost your mileage in the evenings whilst watching TV or reading a book.

And remember, don’t worry if you can’t manage 274 miles.
It’s the taking part that counts so and you can adapt the challenge to suit
you.
