Cycle 274 Miles in August 2026

This August, make every mile you ride help change the future for people diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Take on our Cycle 274 Miles in August challenge and turn your summer into something powerful. By committing to cycle 274 miles across the month, you’ll be raising vital funds for life-changing research – and shining a light on the stark reality that brain tumours remain the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40.

Whether you’re cycling through city streets, country lanes, or on a static bike at home, this is your challenge, your way. Every mile matters. Every pound brings us closer to a cure.

Make it work for you

If 274 miles sounds daunting, broken down, it’s 8.8 miles a day or 61 miles a week – and there are countless ways to reach your goal:

• Make the most of long summer evenings with a post-work ride

• Plan a weekend escape to your favourite scenic spot

• Swap screen time for saddle time with a spin session at home

You can even share the challenge. Team up with a friend and cycle 137 miles each, or take it on as a family to make the distance more manageable. However you choose to approach the challenge, what matters most is taking part and making a difference.
