Brain Tumour Research has published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 30th June 2024, published after the Charity delivered its best year yet, with an income of £8.6 million, an increase of 31% on last year.

The report stands as a celebration of everything we have achieved as a community during the preceding year, with advances in research, campaigning, fundraising and awareness-raising.

Key highlights from the reporting year include our highest ever spend on research at £3.9 million, which has resulted in numerous high-quality research papers and the launch of our fourth Centre of Excellence at the Institute of Cancer Research in September 2023. We also announced our partnership with Beatson Cancer Charity, which has enabled the upcoming launch of our fifth Centre in Scotland later this month.

Our loyal supporter base continues to grow, and we can now boast more than 90,000 sign-ups to our weekly newsletter and 200,000 followers across our social media channels.

Our campaigning hit a high note when we delivered a petition to Downing Street signed by more than 81,000 supporters calling on the Government to make brain tumours a critical priority, while at Westminster last March we launched our Manifesto, It is time to do things differently.
