Brain Tumour Research welcomes the new announcement by Theresa May to invest £75 million into prostate cancer research, aimed at catching the disease earlier and treating it faster.
The investment over the next few years will help recruit some 40,000 men into many new clinical studies.
This news comes on the back of other recent investment announcements by the Government focused on medical research and health care, in particular their commitment to investing £45 million into brain tumour research, which was announced in February this year.
Thanks to the combined voices of everyone campaigning for greater research investment into site-specific cancers and diseases, particularly those that have been historically overlooked and underfunded, our messages are getting through and the Government is listening.
