Help us get closer to a cure this Brain Tumour Awareness Month

2 min read
Brain Tumour Research is today marking the start of Brain Tumour Awareness Month and the charity is urging supporters to get involved to help find a cure.

This March, we are leading the way with a busy programme of activities to raise awareness, demand increased national investment and fundraise to support vital research to find a cure for brain tumours.

This morning, at 11am, a minute’s silence will be held and floral tributes will be laid at the Walls of Hope at our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence. Please join this moment of reflection wherever you are and help us remember and honour those lost to this devastating disease.

There are many ways you can support our vital work. From joining our brand-new challenge with the one and only Mr Motivator to using Facebook to fundraise, engaging with your MP to making a dedication – and much more – we have compiled lots of different ideas for how you can get involved throughout the month.

Plus, there’s still time to register for Wear A Hat Day on Friday 25th March and finish Brain Tumour Awareness Month with a hattastic flourish! Visit to sign up and start planning hatty fundraising events at home, school, work, or for your club or community.
