Congratulations to our celebrity ambassador Danielle Harold who is heading to the Australian jungle for this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Danielle is one of a host of celebrities heading to the iconic campsite in New South Wales to participate in the popular ITV show, where she will face a series of Bushtucker trials and challenges in a bid to be crowned this year's Queen of the Jungle.
Following her award-winning storyline on the BBC soap EastEnders, which followed her popular character Lola Pearce through her diagnosis and death from a glioblastoma (GBM), Danielle has become a close friend and celebrity ambassador for Brain Tumour Research.
Sue Castle-Smith, our Head of PR and Communications, said: “With one in three people knowing someone affected by a brain tumour, Danielle’s storyline on EastEnders resonated with many in our community and beyond. We are so grateful to Danielle for her ongoing support in helping to raise awareness of this devastating disease, and look forward to seeing how she gets on in the jungle!”
Tune in to watch Danielle and her fellow campmates on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! on ITV on Sunday 19th November at 9pm.
