A Milton Keynes-based business has reached a milestone in its fundraising for Brain Tumour Research.
Autotech Group handed over a cheque for more than £17,000 to our Director of Income Generation and Development, Russell Marriott, earlier this month. It’s the latest in their fundraising endeavours for the charity, which have so far raised almost £28,500.
The cheque presentation follows the remarkable success of the team’s Three Peaks Challenge. In June, a team of 16 walkers – aptly named the ‘Autotrekkers’ – conquered three of the UK’s highest peaks, supported by their colleagues from across the organisation who provided food and supplies and drove support vehicles.
Autotech Group’s fundraising is inspired by founder Gavin White (pictured below), who has undergone surgery and extensive treatment since his diagnosis with a glioblastoma (GBM) in September 2023.
Autotech Group CEO, Simon King, said: “We are immensely proud of our team for their dedication and hard work in supporting Brain Tumour Research, they have truly embodied our company value of togetherness.
“This cause is very close to our hearts, and we are committed to continuing our efforts to make a difference. The overwhelming support and generosity from everyone involved have been truly inspiring.”
