A moment to reflect and remember

1 min read

This morning, a minute’s silence took place to mark the beginning of Brain Tumour Awareness Month.

At 11am, researchers, supporters and the Brain Tumour Research team paused in a moment of reflection and remembrance to honour all those lost to this devastating disease.

At each of our Research Centres of Excellence, a special poem was read and floral tributes were laid at the foot of the Walls of Hope.

The minute’s silence was also marked at the charity’s head office, where a number of supporters joined the team virtually. It was an emotional and poignant moment for all involved and everyone at Brain Tumour Research was truly honoured by those supporters who chose to share moving stories of their loved ones.

Our thanks go to all those who joined us to commemorate and show our respect to those no longer with us, and to those of you in our community who marked a minute’s silence privately.

There are many more opportunities to get involved this March. For more information, visit www.braintumourresearch.org/brain-tumour-awareness-month
