Wear A Hat Day 2025

Will you join us and wear a hat for hope on Friday 28th March 2025?

Wear A Hat Day is our annual event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. Every March, people put on their favourite hat, hold hat-themed events and make donations to help find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

Why hats?

The first Wear A Hat Day was held in 2010 and, since then you have helped us raise more than £2 million to help raise awareness of this devastating disease, campaign for the Government and larger charities to invest more, and fund ground-breaking research at our network of Centres of Excellence where scientists are focused on improving treatments for patients and, ultimately, finding a cure.

We are proud to work with some of the most high-profile names in UK millinery whose pieces are worn with pride by royalty, celebrities and society names. But the beauty of Wear A Hat Day is that anyone can take part simply by wearing a hat, whether that be a sunhat or a sombrero, a Panama or a pirate hat, a beanie or a bespoke couture creation. The ask is simple: wear a hat for hope and make a donation to Brain Tumour Research. Together we will find a cure.

Wear A Hat Day 2025 is supported by Novocure.
