How can I receive my t-shirt and fundraising pack?

If you have registered and set up your fundraising page on the Enthuse platform for Brain Tumour Research, we’ll send your t-shirt and fundraising pack to you within 10 working days.

An easy way to get your fundraising page started is to donate yourself, or you can ask a friend, family member or colleague to donate to your page.

A great way to get the ball rolling is to share your fundraising page as widely as possible across your social networks.

Please allow 10 working days for our volunteers to ship out  your free gift and fundraising pack to you. We appreciate your support as you continue to raise vital funds to help us get closer to finding a cure for this devastating disease.

How do I join the challenge as part of a team?

If you’d like to take on this challenge as a team – that’s no problem! After all, it is a 676-mile trip, which is pretty epic!

When signing up for the challenge, you will see the option to ‘create a team’ or ‘join a team’. If you are joining an existing team that has already been created, you can search for this and join the relevant team.

Or, if you would like to captain and set up the team page yourself, clicking ‘create a team’ will create a specific team page link.

Once this is set up, you can ask people to donate to the team page to ensure that all donations to your team are shown towards your team total.

When will I receive my t-shirt and fundraising pack?

Your fighting force t-shirt and pack will be posted to you once you have registered for the challenge via Enthuse.

Please allow 10 working days for your goodies to arrive with you. This accounts for any potential delays in the postal system.

Once you have successfully registered for the event and set up your fundraising page, follow these steps to connect your Strava account:

  • Log in to your Enthuse fundraiser dashboard here
  • Locate the ‘Connect to Strava’ option on your fundraising page (this sits just underneath your fundraising page story)
  • Once you select this, you’ll be taken to Strava’s site, where you can log in and confirm the connection. When you have done this, select ‘Finish’, which will then take you back to your fundraising page
  • That’s it! When you’ve connected to Strava, it’ll show up on your page, where you can also disconnect if you need to

Manually log your miles > If you don’t have a Strava account and would prefer to log your miles manually as you go, that’s no problem! Simply follow these steps to learn how:

  • Log into your fundraiser dashboard
  • On your page, you will see ‘Add an activity’ option
  • This will allow you to enter the details for your activity. When you’ve finished, select ‘Save activity’
  • Your activity should now appear on your page

If you want to, you can add some more detail, including text and images. To do that, select ‘Edit post’ and select ‘Finish editing’ once done.

Will I receive a free medal if I raise £274?

Yes! Well done on achieving £274 or more! This represents the equivalent of 10% of the cost of a day’s research at one of our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence and is a great achievement.

We are so grateful to you for your hard work and determination in raising these vital funds.

Medals are being sent throughout August to celebrate that great achievement.

Once you have raised £274, you will automatically become eligible to receive a medal. You do not need to do anything or contact anyone to receive your medal.
