We are delighted to launch our new 10,000 steps a day in February fundraiser.
Walking is proven to impact positively on our fitness and wellbeing. By joining the challenge and completing 10,000 steps every day throughout the month, not only will you reap the health benefits, you’ll also be supporting vital research into brain tumours.
You can complete your steps however and with whoever you like, ensuring you follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. You could head to your local park to enjoy some fresh air, discover a new route every day or stay at home and complete your challenge around your house or garden. You can step out on your own, walk with your household or meet up with your support bubble – whichever suits you best.
To take part, please join our 10,000 steps a day in February Facebook Group. You’ll be able to connect with other supporters joining the challenge, share how your walks are going and access helpful fundraising tips.
Once you have joined the group, you’ll be able to set up your Facebook fundraiser. Set yourself a target of £100 and when you receive your first donation, we’ll send you a free Brain Tumour Research t-shirt to wear with pride whilst racking up your step count.
We’ll be with you every step of the way as you complete your challenge, helping to get us closer to a cure.
