Give hope this Christmas and help fund vital research

1 min read

This Christmas, please help us spread hope and support vital research to find a cure for brain tumours with a donation to our annual Christmas Hope Tree Appeal.

By donating to our Christmas Hope Tree Appeal, you can share a message on a special ‘bauble of hope’. Your message could be a memory of a loved one, in support of someone diagnosed with a brain tumour, or a heartfelt thanks to our scientists working to find a cure. The baubles will be displayed on one of our special Christmas Hope Trees at our Research Centres of Excellence.

Seven-year-old brain tumour survivor Lyra Cole (pictured) is featuring in our Appeal and has completed her bauble, sharing a message of hope for all affected by this devastating disease. Lyra was just five months old when she underwent emergency surgery to remove a low-grade choroid plexus papilloma tumour. Last year, Lyra topped the Christmas charts with a version of When A Child Is Born to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

Lyra’s mum, Ellie, said: “Things turned out well for Lyra and we know that many others are not so fortunate. This charity has been very supportive and I know how hard they are working to find a cure for brain tumours. Please support them – together we can strive to offer a better future for all the children and adults affected by a brain tumour.”

Please help us fund vital brain tumour research this Christmas so that more children like Lyra can face a brighter future.
