Brain tumour survivor publishes Social Media Fundraising Planner

1 min read

Blogger and brain tumour survivor, Claire Bullimore, has published a handy social media planner for fundraisers.

After being diagnosed with an intraventricular meningioma brain tumour in 2008, Claire underwent surgery which left her with life-changing effects. In 2011, she began writing a blog, Aunty M Brain Tumours, to connect with fellow patients and survivors, and help others on a similar journey.

Since her diagnosis and treatment, Claire has undertaken a number of different fundraising activities to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, including making and selling greetings cards, taking on running challenges, and promoting our annual Wear A Hat Day on her social media pages and on the radio.

With more than 16,000 followers across her social media pages, Claire has now pooled her fundraising and online expertise to publish The Social Media Fundraising Planner. Offering examples of social media posts, useful hashtags, video ideas and awareness days to add to your calendar, the book contains lots of practical ideas and suggestions to help readers maximise their fundraising efforts.

The Social Media Fundraising Planner is available for £7. Find out more and purchase your copy here.
