With more than 150 National League appearances to his name, Tom Chapman took to the pitch for Worcester Warriors and Blackheath, and now coaches at Old Colfeians RFC.
In 2024, he married World Cup-winning England rugby star, Vicky Fleetwood. With more than 80 caps for her country, Vicky lifted the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2014 and was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Nine months after their wedding day and just two weeks after returning from their dream honeymoon, Tom suffered a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumour, later confirmed to be a grade 4 astrocytoma.
Together, the Chapmans are sharing their journey of navigating Tom’s brain cancer journey and working with Brain Tumour Research to raise funds and awareness to help find a cure for the disease.
