Thousands of you have already signed our petition calling on the Government to ring-fence £110 million of current and new funding to kick-start an increase in the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million a year by 2028.
As the leading voice for the brain tumour research community, we have already achieved a number of campaigning milestones in 2023, including the launch of an important inquiry report, a landmark House of Commons debate, a promise from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for a Ministerial meeting to examine brain tumour research funding issues, and cross-party support to call on the Government to make brain tumour research a “critical priority”.

We also need your help to mobilise your friends, family and your networks so that we can reach our target of more than 100,000 signatures by Tuesday 31st October 2023.
Hugh Adams, our Head of Stakeholder Relations, said: “We need to reach 100,000 signatures in the hope of prompting a parliamentary debate. To get to that goal, we need every one of our supporters to sign the petition and share it as widely as possible to encourage their networks to sign too.
“Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet the national investment in brain tumour research still represents just 1% of national cancer research funding since records began in 2002. Sign our petition for change and make a difference for all those affected by this devastating disease.”
