There’s little more than a month to go until our incredible gala dinner event, celebrating everything we’ve achieved together in the 15 years since our launch. Tickets are selling fast but there are still some available – so don’t delay, book yours today!
Held at The Dorchester on Thursday 13th March, during Brain Tumour Awareness Month, Closer to a Cure – 15 Years of Impact will celebrate our progressive march towards re-writing the story for brain tumour patients and their families, while also shining a spotlight on this devastating disease so that we can continue to drive change.
Despite the gravity of our mission, the evening, hosted by Sarah Beeny, promises to be one of celebration, commemoration and inspiration. Guests will learn about the pioneering work of our scientists and why hope is on the horizon, before Patron Alfie Boe OBE and others take to the stage to entertain and delight.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, online competition platform GoGoVox, attendees will also enjoy a Champagne reception and sumptuous three-course meal.
Capturing the atmosphere and emotion in the room will be photographer Owen Billcliffe, who is generously donating his services in support of our cause. Like so many others in attendance, Owen’s life and loved ones have been personally impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis.
Owen said: “Offering my services at the gala dinner felt like the least I could to do to say thank you for everything Brain Tumour Research does, and to help others get the support they need. It’s my pleasure and privilege to be part of the evening.”
Join us for this night to remember. A single guest ticket is £275 and tables of 10 are priced at £2,740 – representing the cost of a day’s research at a Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence. Click here to purchase your ticket.
