Ambassador Abi Feltham has powered her way through the Battle Cancer challenge to help fund research and raise awareness of the disease that has impacted her life.
Influencer Abi, who was diagnosed with an incurable oligodendroglioma in May 2024 and given a prognosis of 15 years, completed the 90-minute event in London yesterday. She and three teammates synchronised their movements as they worked their way through nine high-energy stations, including biking, rowing, sandbag squats and lifting.
Abi said: "Taking part in Battle Cancer with my amazing team was such an incredible experience! The energy, the support, and the sense of community were unforgettable. I’m so proud of what we achieved together and thrilled that we’ve raised £1,354 for Brain Tumour Research, a cause that means the world to me. Every pound brings us closer to finding a cure, and I’m so grateful to everyone who donated and cheered us on."

Incredibly, following two brain surgeries and radiotherapy, Abi took up CrossFit halfway through her second round of chemotherapy earlier this year, in a bid to strengthen her physical and mental health.
She said: “Before I was diagnosed, I was so fit, so active, training was a big part of my life and when I was diagnosed with cancer, all that was stripped away from me. My hobby, the thing I did for fun, was gone in an instant because my body was a mess and I was having brain surgery and chemo. So, I want to do this for myself, to reclaim that part of me.”

Abi has won an army of fans for her honest, funny and relatable videos about life with a brain tumour, and is a beacon of hope for many in our community. She is tireless in showing support for our cause, taking part in Wear A Hat Day and #ShineALight and attending our 15th anniversary Gala Dinner to raise awareness of our vision to find a cure for all types of brain tumours.
Dan Knowles, CEO of Brain Tumour Research, said: “Abi is a wonderful Ambassador and we are so proud of her for taking on this gruelling challenge. The money she and her team raise will help drive the much-needed change which brain tumour patients and their families so desperately deserve.”
If Abi has inspired you to help fund the fight, you could take on our 99 Miles in November challenge. Together we will find a cure.
