That's it for 2024

It has been quite a year for Brain Tumour Research campaigners, but as the French say: "Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose" which translates as: "The more it changes, the more it stays the same".

No matter who the Government is, whosoever the Secretary of State for Health is, no matter what changes there are at Westminster or in the Devolved Nations, our vision to find a cure for all types of brain tumours remains undimmed. We retain our laser focus, to increase the UK investment in research into brain tumours.

For the final update of 2024, we want to share the slides from our December webinar to provide a visual reminder of the year. And, below the images, you'll find a link to the webinar recorded on YouTube so you can click and listen to Thomas and I talking through the slides and explaining what happened in our campaigning space pre and post the General Election, plus the landscape in the Devolved Nations and our plans for 2025.

Our 2nd Campaigning Webinar | December 2024 | Brain Tumour Research - YouTube

We will be taking some time off over the Christmas and New Year period, so the next update will be with you on Friday 10th January.

We wish you a peaceful time until then. If this time of year is one of particular difficulty for you, please do stay in touch with us on social media – this is our Facebook page.

As we said at the beginning, some things don't change and our commitment to patients and their families remains the same. You are, and will always be, at the heart of what we do because, for so many of our team, this is personal.

Together we will make a difference, together we are getting closer to a cure.
