We are very pleased to announce that our Luton Walk of Hope has been reorganised for Saturday 19th October.
Online registration has closed, but if you have not done so you can still turn up and register on the day. Please find the event brief here.
All other information remains unchanged aside from the date. Please arrive at Wardown Park at 1:30pm. Suitable for all ages and abilities, distance options range from 1km to 5km. The route is flat and accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Dogs are also welcome on the Walk.
Supported by our Fight4Hope Fundraising Group, which was set up in memory of 23-year-old Amani Liaquat who died of a glioblastoma (GBM) in February 2022, the Luton Walk of Hope was postponed last weekend due to flooding.
Amani’s parents, Yasmin and Khuram, said: “For us it is more than a walk, it is a moment in time to bring Amani's memory to the forefront for everyone to come together and remember her, whilst also highlighting the desperate need for more funding for research into brain tumours.”
If you are unable to make the rescheduled date, you can still show your support and bring hope to the thousands affected by brain tumours by making a donation.
