The parents of a little boy who lost his sight after surgery to remove a life-threatening brain tumour have lent their voices to our Christmas Appeal, asking if you will help give hope to families like theirs in the future.
Five-year-old Riley Thompson was diagnosed with an optic nerve glioma in spring of this year, and although he sadly lost an eye during surgery to remove the tumour, his family are acutely aware of how much more they could have lost.
Mum, Nicole, said: “We do understand that there are people this year who won’t be with their loved ones due to these types of brain tumours.”
It’s why they’re asking for your support to help get us closer to finding a cure for this devastating disease.
Donate to give the gift of hope this Christmas.
