On Thursday 13th March, during Brain Tumour Awareness Month, we’re set to commemorate 15 years of game-changing advances in our Research Centres of Excellence, with a memorable gala dinner.

This year holds particular significance as we reflect on Finlay’s life – he would have been celebrating his 21st birthday in May but, instead, we mark a decade since his passing on 25th November.
“Finlay was a bright, funny and courageous boy who faced unimaginable challenges with unwavering spirit. Despite major brain surgery and rigorous treatments, the disease took him far too soon, at just 11 years old. His loss is a stark reminder of the devastating impact of brain tumours, which remain the leading cause of cancer deaths in children and young people under 40, yet receive only 1% of national funding.”
