Call for evidence from brain tumour patients in Wales

1 min read
The Welsh Cross-Party Group on Cancer has launched an inquiry to better understand the impact that inequalities, and particularly deprivation, have on patient experience, access to cancer services, cancer incidence and cancer outcomes in Wales.

The aim of the inquiry is to provide recommendations to the Welsh Government, NHS Wales and other public bodies to tackle inequalities across the cancer pathway, and in particular the impact of poverty and deprivation on patient access and experience.

Thomas Brayford, our Policy and Public Affairs Officer, said: “We are keen to contribute to the inquiry, and are asking patients and their families to help. Your survey responses are crucial to gain a better understanding of how brain tumour patients in Wales are affected. Together we can make a difference.”

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and can be accessed at https://forms.office.com/r/wYMK3wx6uR
