We’re excited to announce that our second Wear A Hat Day with Flowers will take place on Friday 18th June.
Back by popular demand, this fabulously floral hatty event is the perfect way to bring your loved ones together and celebrate, whilst raising funds to help find a cure for brain tumours.
Last year, the first ever Wear A Hat Day with Flowers raised over £40,000 to support our vital work. Please join us this year and help grow that total with another blooming brilliant day of joyful celebrations.
We’re delighted that BBC TV’s Instant Gardener Danny Clarke is once again supporting the event. Danny knows the pain of a brain tumour diagnosis having lost his sister Margot to a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), aged 52.
To take part, simply register online. Set up your JustGiving page with a target of £274 (or more!), download your FREE digital fundraising pack for lots of awesome ideas and start planning your fun floral events.
There are lots of ways that you can take part at home, at school or at work. Challenge your friends and family to a competition and offer a prize for the most flamboyant floral creation. Ask everyone at your workplace to wear a hat with flowers and donate £10 on the day. Host a spectacular street party and invite the neighbourhood to put on their best flowery hats. Test people’s horticultural and hatty knowledge with a themed quiz night. Or put your thinking caps on and come up with your own Wear A Hat Day with Flowers idea.
However you choose to get involved, we hope you’ll join us for a great day of flowery hatty fun.
