A woman who was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour whilst pregnant is sharing a special message as part of our Advent Appeal.
Laura Mahon, 30, was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (GBM) when she was 20 weeks pregnant in September 2021. As Laura became increasingly unwell, she and husband Danny decided to bring their daughter Sienna into the world at 30 weeks.
Laura, who recently won a Pride of St Helens Courage Award for her support of Brain Tumour Research, has shared her story as part of our Advent Calendar to help inspire donations to find a cure for the disease.
