Friends and colleagues are undertaking a moo-vellous challenge to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Holstein UK Group are holding the ‘Cycle for Sue’ to coincide with UK Dairy Day – a dedicated annual one-day event for the dairy industry – at the International Centre in Telford. Their fundraising is in memory of CEO and Event Director of UK Dairy Day, Sue Cope (pictured).

Sue worked for the organisation for more than 25 years and during that time she was not only a fantastic leader, but an inspiration, mentor and friend. Sadly, she passed away in May this year.

The team is cycling two spin bikes a total of 867 miles. Bike one will cover 307 miles – the distance from Land’s End to UK Dairy Day – and bike two will travel 560 miles virtually from John O’Groats to the event. They are inviting attendees to come along and have a spin to help them achieve their goal.

Hannah Williams, Head of Events and Marketing at Holstein UK said: “In memory of Sue we felt UK Dairy Day was the right platform to fundraise for Brain Tumour Research.  We start set up at the International Centre for UK Dairy Day on Friday, at the same we will start cycling a total of 867 miles on two spin bikes.  A JustGiving page has been set up and we welcome donations in advance or on the day”.
