Brain Tumour Research is looking for a Research Funding Officer to be part of the Research and Policy team, working with the Director of Research and others in the team to manage the administration of our growing portfolio. As Research Funding Officer, you will be taking the lead in the grants management of our awards.

Position: Research Funding Officer

Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. We offer a hybrid working model, where team members are expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days per week.

Salary: £32,000-£35,000 per annum

Contract / Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Benefits: Holiday entitlement, 25 days per annum, excluding UK Public Holidays, death in service policy, access to an Employee Assistance Programme and option to join our healthcare scheme.

About the Role

As the Research Funding Officer, you will manage the awards, liaise with our grantholders and implement research funding management practices. You will be expected to keep up to date on brain tumour research globally. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is scientifically or clinically trained, wants to remain involved in medical research, but is looking to develop a career in research and grants management. Working with the Director of Research and others in the team you will manage the administration of our growing portfolio of research awards.

Do you have:

  • A graduate qualification in a relevant science discipline 
  • Experience and interest in biomedical research or life sciences
