At 11am tomorrow (Tuesday 1st March), researchers, team members and supporters will pause to remember all those lost to brain tumours as Brain Tumour Awareness Month gets underway.
A short poem will be read, followed by a minute’s silence, at our head office and at each of our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence.
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
You are forever in our hearts.
We take this opportunity every year to reflect and show our respect for all those lost to brain tumours. Afterwards, floral tributes are placed at each of the Walls of Hope at our Research Centres.
Please observe this moment of remembrance wherever you are and help us pay tribute to all those affected by this devastating disease.
Brain Tumour Research will also be hosting the minute’s silence virtually and, in previous years, we have been honoured and touched when supporters have joined us.
If you would like to share in this moment of reflection with others in our community and hear from those affected by this devastating disease, please join us on Zoom from 10:45-11:15am. For more information, please email hugh@braintumourresearch.org
