Could you conquer Brainathlon?

1 min read

Brain Tumour Research is excited to announce it is once again collaborating with Brain Research UK and Epilepsy Research UK on the second ever Brainathlon.

The first iteration of this walk, run and climb relay challenge event took place last April and raised more than £60,000 to support the vital work of the three leading neurological research charities.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to work together again to raise funds to support our work, raise awareness of the common ground between our three charities and show people affected by neurological conditions the strength in working together to improve treatments and outcomes.

Walk 10 miles, run 15 miles and climb 1.2 miles (by walking up 2,500 stairs or equivalent) to complete the 26.2 miles of the challenge during Brainathlon Week (Monday 25th April to Sunday 1st May).

Complete the challenge throughout the week or all in one go. Enter individually or as a relay team of three – it’s up to you.

Raise £100 to receive a specially-commissioned Brainathlon medal in recognition of your amazing achievement (£300 for relay teams). New for 2022, if you raise more than £500 (£1,500 as a relay team), you’ll also receive a reusable Brainathlon water bottle too!

Funds raised will be distributed equally between the three charities to support research, improve outcomes and help people affected by neurological conditions, including epilepsy and brain tumours.
