Join Brain Tumour Research as an Event Volunteer for Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival and play a key role in delivering an unforgettable experience for participants while raising vital funds for life-saving brain tumour research. What you will do:
As a Cheering Volunteer, you will play a key role in motivating and inspiring runners as they take on the challenge of the Plymouth Half Marathon, Plymouth 10K, and Plymouth 5K.
Your role will include:
- Cheering, clapping, and motivating – bring energy and enthusiasm to encourage our Brain Tumour Research runners from start to finish
- Creating an electric atmosphere – help build a lively and positive environment to lift the spirits of participants
- Engage with spectators – share information about Brain Tumour Research and inspire others to get involved in supporting our cause
Who we are looking for:
We need a minimum of six volunteers to make this event a success. No prior experience is required – just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for making a difference. Whether you’re looking to develop new skills, meet new people, or contribute your time to a fantastic cause, we’d love to have you on board!
We'll provide all necessary guidance and support, ensuring you feel comfortable in your role. Our team will be available throughout the event to assist and answer any questions.
