Para athlete Anthony Bryan was diagnosed with an astrocytoma when he was six years old. He underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumour, but suffered a stroke on the operating table, which left him with life-changing injuries. Anthony has no peripheral vision in his left eye and is paralysed on his left side. Despite the physical and emotional challenges that came with his brain tumour diagnosis, Anthony has never let this define him.

Now a decorated para athlete, Anthony holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon run with hemiplegia (one-sided paralysis). In 2025, he set a new world record for the fastest half marathon run by someone with hemiplegia, finishing the Goodwood Half Marathon in an incredible 2 hours and 3 minutes in support of Brain Tumour Research.

From winning medals on the track to smashing world records, Anthony is a true inspiration.
