Research scientists at the University of Edinburgh will be holding an event on Thursday 27th March for patients, families and others interested in knowing more about the research into brain tumours being conducted there.

There will be a series of mini-talks on glioma biology, developments in imaging and surgery, as well as the clinical trials taking place in Edinburgh between 4:30 pm and 6.30 pm at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer with an opportunity for questions.

Professor Steven Pollard, Co-Lead Investigator of our recently launched Scottish Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence, dedicated to advancing the development of new treatments for glioblastoma, will be presenting on increasing understanding of glioma biology at 4:50pm.
