Let’s make the leap towards better brain tumour outcomes

If this time of year has you dreaming of blue skies and brighter horizons, then we have the perfect challenge for you to look forward to. Our annual skydiving day, Jump for Hope, takes place on 31st May 2025 and we’d love you to become one of our Fighting Force of fundraisers.

Diving 10,000ft from an aircraft is one of the most thrilling adventures there is, but the real reward lies in knowing the difference your fundraising will make to the lives of those affected by brain tumours. It enables us to continue to fund our Centres of Excellence and our vital research into finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.

For 2025, we’ve partnered with Skyline Skydiving, which has 16 skydiving sites across the UK at which you can Jump for Hope. You can find one near you here.

There are two ways to take part: pay the cost of your jump and every penny of your donations comes directly to us here at Brain Tumour Research, or choose a charity place, pay your deposit, and commit to raising a minimum of £395 in sponsorship.

Once you register, you’ll receive a special fundraising pack, a branded t-shirt, plus dedicated fundraising help and support. And when you’ve completed your jump, you’ll also receive a special medal.

Mark Smith, from Horsham, took part in Jump for Hope last June with his daughter Amelia. Mark, who lost his partner, Cecilia – Amelia’s mum – to the disease, said: “It was exhilarating and we had such a fantastic time. As soon as we landed, we wanted to go again!”
