A Christmas message from our CEO

Alexa Copson 2 min read

With Christmas nearly upon us and the end of 2025 in sight, there is one simple thing we would like to say:

Thank you for supporting Brain Tumour Research.

Great progress has been made this year and you can read about our campaigning highlights, your epic fundraising achievements and vital research breakthroughs made in 2025.

Momentum is building and we’re looking forward to 2026 with hope and optimism.

We’re set to launch our sixth Centre of Excellence at the University of Nottingham in January, where a world-first study aims to improve treatment for glioblastoma. With the Government’s National Cancer Plan, the Rare Cancers Bill and more on the political agenda, our campaigning work will be pivotal in ensuring our community’s needs are met.

You can help us drive forward this crucial work and give the gift of hope to brain tumour patients and their loved ones by donating to our Christmas Appeal, if you have not already done so. Any amount you can give, however big or small, will help us get closer to much-needed cures for this disease.

For so many, we know Christmas can be a difficult time. If you are missing a loved one or facing a brain tumour diagnosis, we are thinking of you.

We send our best wishes to all our supporters for a peaceful Christmas and new year.

Together we will find a cure.
