Emerging brain tumour therapies will be the focus of the next meeting of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours (APPGBT).
The meeting will hear from experts researching topics such as the effectiveness of cannabis-based medicinal products on brain tumours and innovative ways of delivering conventional medicines into the brain.
The next meeting of the APPGBT takes place on Tuesday 4th June.

The complexity of brain tumours means that clinicians don’t have many effective treatments available. Therefore, encouraging the development of innovative therapies is especially important for brain tumour patients and their families.
We need to ensure MPs realise the desperate need for these treatments and make them aware of the difficulties that researchers face in trying to develop these new emerging therapies.
