Join Brain Tumour Research as an Event Volunteer and help us deliver fantastic fundraising events across the UK, raising critical funds for life-saving research. From marathons to local walks and everything in between, there’s an event for everyone.

What you will do:

As an Event Volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of our events, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly and our participants have an incredible experience. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with event set-up, registration, and participant coordination
  • Providing support and encouragement to participants during the event (e.g., cheering them on, handing out water, etc.)
  • Managing information or merchandise stands and distributing promotional materials
  • Helping with post-event breakdown and ensuring everything is packed away safely
  • Engaging with event participants and sharing the vision of Brain Tumour Research

Who we are looking for:

You don’t need any prior experience to volunteer – just a passion for making a difference and a willingness to get involved. We welcome everyone from all walks of life. Whether you’re looking to gain new skills or simply contribute your time, this role is for you. If you do have experience in the areas mentioned, it’s a great bonus, but it’s by no means required.

We’ll provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training to ensure you feel comfortable and equipped to carry out your tasks. Plus, our team will always be available to offer guidance and answer any questions along the way.
