On Wednesday 1st March at 11am, we will hold a minute’s silence to mark the start of Brain Tumour Awareness Month.
This moment of remembrance is held every year and is an opportunity to pause, reflect and show our respect for all those lost to brain tumours. At each of our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence and at our Head Office, a poem is read before we observe the minute’s silence.
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
You are forever in our hearts.
Afterwards floral tributes are placed at the Wall of Hope at each of our Research Centres.
Please observe this poignant moment wherever you are and help us pay tribute to all those affected by this devastating disease.
Brain Tumour Research will also be hosting the minute’s silence virtually and we have been honoured when supporters have joined us in previous years.
If you would like to join us on Zoom from 10:45-11:15am on Wednesday 1st March, please email us to register your interest.
