99 Miles in November

Beat the cold this November to help us fund the fight against brain tumours.

Brand new for 2024, 99 Miles in November is an exciting challenge which you can complete at your own pace. You choose how to make the journey – walk, jog, run, cycle, swim or you could even take part on horseback.

Take part wherever, whenever. It’s only 3.3 miles (or 8,250 steps) per day.

However you choose to cover 99 miles throughout the month, you will be helping to bring hope to the one in three people in the UK who knows someone affected by a brain tumour.

We are determined to change this. Help us fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

Need some inspiration? Here are a few easy ways to hit that
99-mile target:

Got a dog? Taking your pet for a walk will quickly clock up
some miles. Or offer to walk your neighbour’s dog in return for a donation.

Don’t let wet weather or dark nights slow you down. Hop on a treadmill or exercise bike and put that gym membership to good use.

Cycle to work and back to hit that daily target of 3.3 miles.
Working from home? Make a lunchtime bike ride your excuse to get some fresh air.

Team up with your family or friends and split the distance! For a group of five, it’s less than 20 miles each.

And remember, don’t worry if you can’t manage 99 miles. It’s
the taking part that counts so you can adapt the challenge to suit you.

Plus, raise £137 or more to get a special medal. We’re asking you to try and raise £137 because this represents 5% of the cost of a day’s research at a Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence.
