It is with huge sadness that we report that David Grant has passed away.
A veteran campaigner and supporter of Brain Tumour Research, David was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme grade IV brain tumour in August 2005. Initially told he could have just 12 months to live, he outlived his prognosis by more than 12 years.
His family wrote on Facebook: “It breaks our heart to say the tragic news that David passed away after battling valiantly against a second strong brain tumour. We are so proud of what he achieved after being first ill, campaigning for brain tumour charities and being a wonderful husband and father. We will update later on funeral details. Thank you to everyone for making his life so worthwhile. Lots of love, Lisa and Lauren x.”
