If you’re looking for your next big challenge, team building event or fundraiser, take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks and raise vital funds to help find a cure.
Nestled within the Pennine Range of the Yorkshire Dales National Park lie the iconic three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
On Saturday 5 June a team of Fighting Force Heroes, led by a professional guide, will take on the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks and walk the 25-mile circular route to the summit of all three peaks within 12 hours.
Alexandra Dolphin took on the challenge last year in memory of her husband Stuart, who passed away from a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) in May 2019, aged 30. Alexandra’s team (pictured) raised more than £5,700 in Stuart’s memory.
She said: “Before Stuart was diagnosed, I had no idea how devastating this disease is and how many people it affects. It was a big challenge, but we completed it and the support and generous donations from family and friends made it all worthwhile.”
