The Spring 2023 issue of Believe – the news magazine for brain tumour activists – is coming soon.
Wear A Hat Day takes centre stage in this new edition and our cover features the four scientists who lead our Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence. They are proud to be fronting our 2023 campaign and are calling on you to join in and look super for science. Find out more and register via www.wearahatday.org
Funds raised from Wear A Hat Day events will help support our vital research and we share the latest breakthroughs from our Centres as well as introducing you to two of the bright young minds who have joined the team. We also update you on our campaigning activities, including our work on the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Brain Tumours (APPGBT) inquiry, Pathway to a Cure – breaking down the barriers.
There are recaps of some incredible fundraising events, including the 2022 TCS London Marathon which saw 60 fabulous Brain Tumour Research runners raise more than £335,000 and our One Million Keepy Uppy Challenge where supporters of all ages got involved to give brain tumours the boot.
And there’s more! We share inspirational stories, including the fundraising family which has raised nearly £50,000 in memory of a young man who died from a brain tumour.
