Brain Tumour Research is delighted to be collaborating with Brain Research UK and Epilepsy Research UK to bring you the first ever #Brainathlon.
The Brainathlon is an exciting new walk, run and climb relay challenge taking place from Monday 19th to Sunday 25th April. The virtual event challenges to walk 10 miles, run 15 miles and climb 1.2 miles (by walking up 2,500 individual stairs or equivalent) to complete the full 26.2 miles of the Brainathlon.
Whether you want to enter as an individual and undertake the full challenge yourself or enter as a relay team of three and take on one section each, you can complete your Brainathlon to suit you. Complete your walk, run and climb in one go or spread them out throughout Brainathlon week in April – it’s up to you!
All funds raised from the event will be shared equally between the three charities to support research, improve outcomes and help people affected by neurological conditions, including brain tumours and epilepsy.
A special Brainathlon medal will be sent to each person who raises £100 and relay teams who raise £300 cumulatively in recognition of your amazing support. Individuals who raise over £300 (£900 as a relay team) will also receive you a t-shirt from each of the charities you are supporting.
Visit the #Brainathlon page on our website to find out more and to register for the challenge.
