There are so many different ways you can get your pupils or students involved. Here are just a few ideas:

Give your spring hat parade added purpose. Invite children to get creative in the classroom and decorate a hat, then invite parents to watch them parade with pride 

Set up a Wear A Hat Day sponsored walk around the sports field – 50p a lap will soon add up  

Or you could switch up your regular non-uniform day and ask students to pay a pound to wear a hat for hope, instead 

For a twist on the old ‘teacher in the stocks’ game, convince one to wear a hat and let the children donate to throw sponges to knock it off 

Throw a class party or a disco – dress code: hats!
