MK Dragon Boat Festival in aid of Brain Tumour Research

Are you ready for an exhilarating day of teamwork, competition and fundraising? Join us at the 21st Milton Keynes Dragon Boat Festival and have fun as you help find a cure for brain tumours.

Taking place on Saturday 6th July 2024 at Willen Lake, this great event will see up to 48 teams competing over the 200m racecourse, watched by several thousand spectators and with a wide range of bankside entertainment, food stalls and fun activities. It’s guaranteed to be a fun day out for all the family!

What is dragon boat racing we hear you ask? The fastest growing water activity in Britain today, up to 10 people paddle each 30’ boat with a drummer at the front beating time and a helm at the tail steering a straight course. No previous experience is required, just plenty of team spirit! And not only is this a great team-building experience, it’s great fun too!

Individual entry options:

Looking to join the fun but don’t have a team yet? For £82 per person, you can sign up individually and we’ll place you in a team with other like-minded individuals eager to make new connections while racing for a great cause.

If there are any organisations or groups you’d like to connect with, feel free to invite them to join your team, too – it’s a great way to build relationships and strengthen connections!

Team packages:

Standard entry – £750 + VAT (£900)
Silver entry – £1,370 + VAT, plus a £500 donation to Brain Tumour Research (£2,144)
Gold entry – £1,690 + VAT, plus a £750 donation to Brain Tumour Research (£2,778)

Distance: 200m per race

It’s a fun day out for all, with the added bonus of supporting Brain Tumour Research. As a charity, we ask that participants raise funds to support vital research into brain tumours – a cause that touches many lives.

So, choose your team and sign up today to secure your spot. Let’s makes waves in the fight to find a cure for all types of brain tumours.
