The team at Vitesse Media were astounded by the statistics and wanted to do something to raise much needed funds for this dreadful disease which takes the lives of more children and people under the age of 40 than Leukaemia or any other cancer. Vitesse Media are the leading specialists in growth businesses - entrepreneurs and CEOs, their investors, advisers and suppliers. They offer award-winning publications, fast-growing websites, exciting events and much-acclaimed research. Their flagship titles include SmallBusiness.co.uk, Growth Company Investor, Information Age, GrowthBusiness.co.uk, What Investment, Business XL and M&ADeals.co.uk. Their endorsement is invaluable as they raise awareness of brain tumours through their impressive audience and are allowing advertising space in their magazines and on their websites.
They will also be fundraising through raffles at their `not to be missed awards events' and inviting us to network at their breakfast launches.

Escape the City is a new London-based startup for young professionals who want to escape jobs that don't inspire, excite and fulfill them. Co-founder Rob Symington is keen to support Brain Tumour Research because his brother was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2007. He thankfully beat it. "The experience showed our family that life is too short and precarious not to spend it doing things that matter. This thought has informed the philosophy behind Escape the City and is why we would like to support Brain Tumour Research as our permanent partner charity". www.escapethecity.org |
